It’s no secret that Facebook is focusing mainly on mobile ads lately. In these last few months, 73% of their income came from selling mobile ads.
At the Cannes Lions Festival, Chief Product Officer Chris Cox reveiled a mockup of the next generation mobile ad.
With this, Facebook gives advertisers the possibility to create an alternative, more interactive version of their website on Facebook, allowing users to decide how they want to see the content (pictures, videos, GIF’s or even a 360Â° view on products). As an example, the video below shows you the mockup of the luxury brand Michael Kors.
When Facebook will roll out these new mobile ads is still unknown.
